Rolling Through Afghanistan

Life as a Combat Medic Enduring PTSD

The core of Nicholas Bertucci’s debut memoir, Rolling Through Afghanistan, draws from personal journals he kept during his 2010 deployment in Afghanistan as a Navy Fleet Marine Force Hospital Corpsman.

Through this unfiltered lens, Bertucci reveals everything he can about his experience of the Afghan War, and also his life leading up to that time, and since, including the long-term effects he still carries with him.

Revisiting those journals was both therapeutic and its own kind of battle, but for Bertucci the effort was worth its toll in tears and trauma so others might understand what it’s like to be part of the Unites States armed forces fighting on the front lines in war, and so his fellow veterans — perhaps not ready to face their own wartime memories — might be lifted up.

Read Rolling Through Afghanistan – Life as a Combat Medic Enduring PTSD and be there for every battle and mental and physical struggle Bertucci endured, day in and day out… including the lingering emotional pain so often affecting not just veterans, but also their loved ones and acquaintances… and discover how important it is to recognize post traumatic stress disorder and learn what can be done — by everyone — to ease the pain of war.

The e-book edition includes over three dozen photographs from the author’s Afghan War experience.

The audiobook edition features bonus content not available in the e-book or print editions.
